St. Peter Claver: The Heavenly Cleaners clean and straighten up church pews and dust and vacuum the church and the Gathering Space. Volunteers should have the ability to physically handle a vacuum. Volunteers often work in pairs, but cleaners who prefer to work alone can do so. Cleaning takes place on Mondays and Fridays for 1.5 to 2 hours during the day, with the exact times depending on the availability of the cleaners. Currently, volunteers are scheduled two or three times each month. However, when there are enough volunteers, cleaners can be scheduled once a month.
