Children’s Liturgy of the Word

We welcome all children ages 4 and up to participate in Children’s Liturgy of the Word, a special part of the Sunday Mass designed just for them!

After the opening prayer, children are invited to gather in a separate space where they’ll hear and reflect on the Sunday readings from the Children’s Lectionary—written in language that’s easier for them to understand. Through prayer, discussion, and age-appropriate activities, they’ll grow in faith while connecting with the Gospel message in a meaningful way.

Children return to the main church to rejoin their families during the collection, continuing to celebrate the Eucharist together.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word runs from the first Sunday after Labor Day through Pentecost.
