Christian Formation Commission: Guiding Faith, Growing Disciples

Are you passionate about helping others grow in their Catholic faith? Do you have ideas and energy to share? The Christian Formation Commission is a vibrant team dedicated to supporting and enhancing the faith formation programs across our three parishes—for children, youth, adults, and families.

What We Do

The commission works closely with clergy, other commissions and parish staff to strengthen and support a wide range of formation programs, including:

  • Religious Education (Grades 4K–8)
  • High School Faith Formation & Confirmation Preparation (Grades 9–11)
  • Family Formation
  • Adult Faith Formation
  • Special Needs Ministry
  • OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Together, we help shape programs that inspire lifelong discipleship and deepen our community’s relationship with Christ.

Who Should Join?

We welcome individuals who:

  • Are eager to help others grow in faith
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Can offer thoughtful feedback and creative ideas
  • Are willing to serve at occasional events throughout the year

Whether you're a parent, catechist, or simply someone who loves your faith, your voice and gifts are needed!

Meeting Schedule

The Christian Formation Commission meets on the third Thursday of each month from 6:00–8:00 PM at St. Peter Claver Parish.
