K–8 Religious Education Classroom Assistants help catechists during religious education classes.

Classroom Assistants should have a desire to grow in and share the Catholic faith, the ability and desire to work with children, the ability to take direction from the catechist, and the ability to work as a team on classroom tasks as needed. Safe Environment training is required. Classes take place on Wednesdays, September through May, from 4 to 5:30 pm, at the Faith Formation Office next to Ss. Cyril and Methodius. Classroom Assistants also attend two to three in-service sessions a year. Class times may vary from year to year, depending on the needs of the ministry.
