High School Small Group Leaders facilitate small group discussions with high school religious education students. Small group leaders should have a basic understanding of Catholic teaching, tradition, and scripture; a desire to grow in and share their faith, and the ability to connect with high school students. It is important to be open, thoughtful, engaging and fun. Safe Environment training is required. Materials for the small group discussions are provided. High school small groups meet twice a month on Sundays from 8:45 to 10:15 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Small group leaders also spend 30 minutes preparing for class and attend a one-hour September in-service session each year at Ss. Cyril and Methodius.
