The K–8 Religious Education Music Ministry helps provide music during the opening prayer time for religious education classes. Volunteers should be able to sing or play a musical instrument, should be comfortable leading a large group in song, and should like working with children. Safe Environment training is required. Classes take place on Wednesdays, September through May, from 4 to 5:30 pm at the Faith Formation Office next to Ss. Cyril and Methodius, with music ministers arriving at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church by 3:45 pm and departing at 4:30 pm. Music ministers may volunteer weekly or less often, depending on their schedules.
