Elizabeth Ministry International is an organization that provides support and encouragement to parents and families. All three parishes use the Elizabeth Ministry’s Rosebud Program to offer prayer intentions related to childbirth. Each parish has a display of roses and prayer cards of various colors, with each color representing a specific prayer intention: birth, pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, grandparenting, and troubled times. The entire congregation prays for these needs during the prayers of the faithful at Mass. Adult and/or high school volunteers are needed at each parish to maintain the display once or twice a month and to occasionally reorder roses and prayer cards. There is also the hope that adult volunteers could be assembled to contact anyone who leaves their contact information on a prayer card.
