The Money Counting ministry tallies the offerings received during weekend and Holy Day Masses at Immaculate Conception, St. Peter Claver, and Ss. Cyril and Methodius. Volunteers need to have a basic understanding of parish income, experience using an adding machine, and proficiency in math. It is also important to be organized and detailed-oriented, to be able to maintain confidentiality, to be willing to work as a member of a team, and to be able to commit to a regular schedule. Volunteers should be parish members who are not be serving in any other roles that could conflict with the role of money counting. Volunteers are organized into three- person teams, and team members cannot be related to each other. Counting usually takes place every Monday morning at St. Peter Claver.
