About Mrs. Gullikson

My name is Lori Gullikson and I am excited to be the Second Grade Teacher at Christ Child Academy. I am a lifelong member of this faith community and a proud alumnus of St. Peter Claver and Christ Child Academy.  I attended the University of WI-Milwaukee and earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  Over the past ten years, I have had the opportunity to work as both a teacher and volunteer at Christ Child Academy, as well as the Co-Director of Christian Formation for the Sheboygan South Catholic Parishes.

Second Grade is an exciting, faith-filled year! We learn about addition and subtraction, telling time, money, communities, government, cursive, studying plants, and do lots of reading and writing together– just to name a few! This is such an important Sacramental year, in which we celebrate First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. It is truly a blessing to share these important milestones with my students.

As an educator, I enjoy watching my students’ growth and development on a daily basis. This growth is a direct result of teachers and staff members who care for their students and create a positive learning environment enriched by Catholic values. I am continually impressed and proud of CCA’s curriculum, forward-thinking, technology, and programs.

I look forward to another great school year and to helping my students grow in their faith and foster a life enriched by service and Catholic values.

On a personal note, my Catholic faith guides my daily life, as a daughter, wife, parent, and educator. It is an honor to continue my pursuit of lifelong learning where it began – at Christ Child Academy – a place I’ve known, loved and respected my entire life. 

I have been married for 23 years to my husband, Ross, and we are the proud parents of two Christ Child Academy alumni. In my free time I enjoy music, walking, the outdoors, and spending time with my family.
