Welcome to Fourth Grade!

Hello, my name is Carrie Peterson, and I am excited to be the 4th grade teacher at Christ Child Academy!

I attended Carroll University in Waukesha, WI, receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1999.  I went on to complete my teaching certification in 6th-12th grade Social Studies from Lakeland University in 2004.  While I have a background in Social Studies and Psychology, I have been a substitute teacher in the Sheboygan area for a variety of grades and subjects for almost 10 of the last 18 years.  I have been a Substitute Teacher at Christ Child Academy since 2017.

I was raised in Sheboygan and remained here after college.  I am married to my husband Tom, and have two children:  Tyler is 16 and a Junior at North High, and Lily is 10 and in 5th grade at Wilson Elementary.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, and refinishing antique furniture in my spare time.

I am looking forward to a great year in 4th grade!
